Stick Insect, Phasmid - Lonchodes mirabilis
This is a female Phasmid, but not familiar of what genus/species.
She has lost her 2 front legs although it may not be obvious to those not familiar with Phasmids.
Phasmids are able to re-generate their lost legs, ONLY when they lost it at their early stages. Phasmids goes through several stages of moulting, 6-7, usually with Female having one additional moult to the Males. Each time they moult, they may be able to regenerate a lost leg, but its not immediately a leg of full leg that is functional. It may takes 2-3 moults before the lost legs are fully regenerated and even then, this new leg may not be as long as the original leg.
