  1. A technical question, Albert. I see you use extremely small apertures, way beyond F11. I was always taught to avoid this as it leads to diffraction, but it doesn't seem to affect your photos much. Thoughts? Posted 9 years ago
    1. I am not sure, but I always like the higher aperture settings, my basic setting is usually F22 and sometimes I cranked it up higher to F32 for super macro shots with add-on Raynox DCR-250. I use external flash and sometimes even set -1 or even -2EV, just enough to light the subject and keep the background minimally lighted. Posted 9 years ago
      1. That is great to know, I may experiment with lower apertures then, because I always struggle with the too limited depth of field. Posted 9 years ago
        1. Yes, I experimented with the settings in my early days as I tend to get over-exposed shots when I am using lower F-stops and now I usually starts with F22 and adjust from there. Posted 9 years ago
