Hypothyris anastasia is a species of clearwing butterfly in the nymphalidae family.
This subspecies is one of several, called Hypothyris anastasia honesta
They occur in the subfamily Danainae with the well known monarchs.

The tribe is Ithomiini which include clearwing butterflies, lacking wing scales, featuring transparent wings and sometimes delicate and elongate wings and bodies like damselflies and dragonflies in Odonata.
