  2. With those big eyes and overall shape I am more thinking it is a jumping spider.
    The Aelurillus v-insignitus has got a similar stripe on the back so might be the one.

    1. Well, might be this specie, Joost, the description matches the animal in general - although the picture on that site shows a much darker coloured individuum... Maybe there's a certain variety?! Anyway - thanks for your hint, Joost! Posted 13 years ago
