I chased a couple of them on the Danube river bank. They always used to land on the ground only for a couple of seconds and I had to hover in the mud in order to get a better point of view. 1. It was worth it, it is nicely illuminated. I found one in Greece at the ruins of Amfipoli but it is a long way from the sea to the Danube across the Balkan. Posted 3 years ago
  2. Beautiful specimen! Wings are beautifully marked! Very nice record, Jivko. Cheers Posted 3 years ago
