Eastern willow spreadwing male - Chalcolestes parvidens

Very close and almost imposible to distingish from C. viridis, but I identified it as C. parvidens because of it's dark pterostigma and more extensively white appendages with only the very tips black.

Oh yeah! Very nice. I believe we don't have this one over here ;) If I came across one this it would be very difficult to distinguish from C. viridis. The Eastern willow spreadwing

"Chalcolestes parvidens", formerly "Lestes parvidens", is a damselfly of the family Lestidae. It has a metallic green body and at rest it holds its wings away from its body. Its common name in English is the eastern willow spreadwing.
