    1. Yes, for such a large insect, they are really well camouflaged! I usually only see them crossing a road or out on a terrace or other open surfaces. Posted 9 years ago

It is a wingless bush cricket, with the body size of up to 12 centimetres , which makes it one of the largest European insects.
