Tortoise Beetles having fun This is a pair of Tortoise Beetle mating.  Prior to the mating, the Male can be seen caressing the Female with his antennae, shaking his back and flashing his wings as shown in this video :<br />

        1. Another aspect to it, it also means, the Female can decides whether to accepts the Male or not as if she doesn't raise her bum, their shields will protect her from getting 'raped' ;) Posted 9 years ago
