  1. In Molenakker there are a lot of those, I'm always wondering about their origin as they are possibly discarded pets. Looks like a young rabbit. Posted 13 years ago
    1. It's a young one indeed. And if there is one in your garden there will be more... I have seen them often on the other side of our neighbourhood but not in my garden.
      They are not discarded pets I read once in the Molenakkerjournal, but wild rabbits.

The European Rabbit or Common Rabbit is a species of rabbit native to south west Europe and north west Africa. It has been widely introduced elsewhere often with devastating effects on local biodiversity. However, its decline in its native range has caused the decline of its highly dependent predators, the Iberian Lynx and the Spanish Imperial Eagle.
