  1. Some consider this to be a synonym of Epi. secundum, but it seems most South Americans recognize it as a valid species. Posted 9 years ago

      1. Honestly, reed-stem epidendrums are a bit of a mystery to me. It looks like elongatum and secundum are the type species of two separate groups, of 10 and 25 species, respectively!
        Still, looking at photos on IOSPE, my photo definitely fits elongatum better.
