  1. Like it is secretly snacking and just got busted :)
Not sure if you're up for this, but I want to share an exposure tip. The photo is a tad underexposed. Very likely this is due to you pointing your camera at a white subject. The camera will meter the light as such and "think" that the entire scene is very light, and will therefore automatically underexpose the whole scene. Causing the background to be darker than needed, but also turning white into grey. You typically get the same effect when trying to photograph snow. The opposite is also true when you photograph an overly dark subject, the camera will mistakenly overexpose it.

Just wanted to check if you're aware of this effect. I can share some tips on how to overcome it, should you not already know.

    1. Hi Ferdy :) She's funny, stuffing her face. Thank you for the tips - I've got a confession to make....This was taken last night in low light...using my phone camera lol....

I was too lazy to go and get my camera out of the other room...lol.

      1. That I missed entirely, you got me fooled in thinking it was a DSLR shot! Posted 9 years ago
        1. Haha I'm afraid not, the stupid thing is, in the time it took me to get a passable shot of her eating with the phone, I could have set the camera up and taken a number of decent shots. Lesson learnt, quality rather than laziness! Posted 9 years ago
