    1. Haha I didn't have a telephoto yet! This was in the garden of my friend, and birds were pretty tame indeed. It was a general trend in Colombia, though I'm not sure it'll be the same in the Amazon. Posted 9 years ago

The tropical parula is a small New World warbler. It breeds from southernmost Texas and northwest Mexico south through Central America to northern Argentina, including Trinidad and Tobago. This widespread and common species is not considered threatened by the IUCN.
