    1. I don't know if it managed to open it. But what amazed me is that this was only meters from the beach, and maybe 200 meters from the campsite. Almost all the people there just spent their days napping in a hamac or at the beach, and seemed to have no appreciation for the biodiversity that surrounded them... Posted 9 years ago

The Central American agouti is a species of agouti from the family Dasyproctidae. The main portion of its range is from Chiapas and the Yucatan Peninsula, through Central America, to northwestern Ecuador, Colombia and far western Venezuela.
