Grey Reef Shark - Carcharhinus amblyrhynchos The Grey Reef Shark - Carcharhinus amblyrhynchos is from the type of Sharks that need to constantly swim, otherwise they will drown!  They take in oxygen through their gills, and as they swim, near/fresh water are channeled through their mouth and passed through the gills.  If they stops swimming, then the intake of oxygen will be less and they may eventually drown.<br />

The grey reef shark is a species of requiem shark, in the family Carcharhinidae. One of the most common reef sharks in the Indo-Pacific, it is found as far east as Easter Island and as far west as South Africa.
