Orange butterfly with white dots, Ankarafantsika, Madagascar
I spend 10 minutes chasing this butterfly, but it would not settle down close enough, so all I got is this distant shot. Found near the edge of a lake in Ankarafantsika NP. Notable characteristic is 7 white dots per upper wing, and none on the below wings. I've yet to find a match, gut feeling/guess is the Strabena genus.

''Junonia goudotii'' is a butterfly in the Nymphalidae family. It is found on Madagascar, the Comoros and Mauritius. The habitat consists of forest margins and transformed grassland.

And recall seeing a "goudoti" (note the single T) on one of the ancient illustrations there. I had the same white dot arrangement but it was a different genus I think.
