Pachypodium rosulatum growing on sand, Ankarafantsika, Madagascar It took a lot of effort to reach this plant (high climb whilst cutting through weeds as nobody had visited this part for years), so now I&#039;m inclined to tell something about it. This is a variation of the well-known Elephant&#039;s foot plant that grows on sand, instead of rocky areas. These super specialists tend to have a lot of variations based on micro conditions.
