    1. This is a Trombiculidae autumnalis (in Dutch oogstmijt" or "rode fluweelmijt"; English or German name unknown). In wiki "Trombiculidae autumnalis" cannot found, only Trombiculidae. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trombiculidae Posted 13 years ago

The harvest mite, ''Trombicula autumnalis'', is a species of mite of the family Trombiculidae. Their larvae live parasitically; they infect all domestic mammals, humans, and some ground-nesting birds.
