They can number in the hundreds or even thousands at certain dive sites, it is quite a sight to see them 'playing' among the current, feeding on zooplanktons that are swept by the current. In this picture, the one with the mouth opened and with the dorsal fin extended is the Male and the other orange-coloured fishes are the Females. This Dottyback Anthias - Pseudanthias venator are small in size and bright orange coloured reef fish, usually hang around in groups at dive sites that tends to have currents.
