Broad-headed Frog - Limnonectes conspicillatus has a size around 35mm, habitus robust; head enlarged in adult males, with large, tooth-like processes on mandibles; limbs short; skin of dorsum with a corrugated pattern; tympanum hidden; toes with one phalange free of web; dorsum brown with or without darker blotches; a pale brown band from eye to jaws and one across snout and venter cream.

Limnonectes conspicillatus is a species of fork-tongued frogs (Dicroglossidae). Limnonectes are collectively known as fanged frogs because they tend to have unusually large teeth, which are small or absent in other frogs.
