They are usually seen at night time when they come out to feed, during they time, they are hiding, buried in the sand.  Their body is mostly grey to purple colour with yellow markings and their claws are purple in colour. This Simplex Shrimp - Phyllognathia simplex is rare to find, not only because they are small in size (around 1 cm) but because they do not stay in particular area.     1. Again, this is super-macro, but the picture was also cropped.
      If it is not cropped to show such close-up, you will hardly see the details and colours :p
