Antaxius is a genus of 'katydids crickets' belonging to the family Tettigoniidae. The genus Antaxius Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1882 is distributed mainly in mountain systems from southern Europe and Morocco. It is integrated by 12 species arranged into three subgenera.
