Martin Lagerwey - I was aware of the species Delias pasithoe but as mentioned in the description, this is the sub-species Delias pasithoe mera which is found in Philippines. I received the ID verification from another Group - Philippines Lepidoptera. Thanks Posted 9 years ago

  Martin has done well. As I said before, I prefer to use the main species for identification and not create too many entries for subspecies. In this case I don't see an obvious difference between the subspecies (which is also stated in the reference below) so I am not in favour of creating an entry for the subspecies mera. Instead, I added the list of the subspecies and their distribution in the main species entry.
