      1. Absolutely. But they often rest on the same trees, often 3 or 4 at a time. So when you know one of these trees, you just have to wait for a day where one rests near the ground. They are also attracted to lights and stand out a lot more fluttering outside your window at one in the morning! Posted 9 years ago

''Thysania agrippina'' is a species of moth in the Erebidae family. The species has numerous common names, including white witch, birdwing moth, ghost moth, great grey witch, and great owlet moth. It is the lepidopteran with the biggest wingspan, which typically is reported as being up to 27–28 cm and one Brazilian specimen had a wingspan of almost 30 cm .
