
Baby Green Turtle
This Baby Green Turtle is just a few days old, they are kept in the Hatchery. The eggs were collected by personnel pf the Turtle Hatchery and transferred to a protected area for incubation. They are kept for a few days after hatching before being released in the wild during night time to increase their chances of survival. During day time release, they are more prone to be predated by Sea Birds, Lizards and bigger Reef Fishes like Groupers, Snappers and Trevallys

Its range extends throughout tropical and subtropical seas around the world, with two distinct populations in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, but it is also found in the Indian Ocean.
