
Bargibanti Pygmy Seahorse
This tiny seahorses are up to 2 cm in length but they use their tails to curl around the sea fan, they seems much smaller in size, around 1.5 cm. Their colouration can be variable - yellow/orange or purple/pink depending on the host sea fan they are found on. This species was discovered by accident when scientists were studying the sea fan they collected from the sea only to found the tiny seahorses on the sea fan.

Hippocampus bargibanti, also known as Bargibant's seahorse or the pygmy seahorse, is a seahorse of the family Syngnathidae found in the central Indo-Pacific area.
