  1. (ID'ed as Muscari botryoides, but something goes wrong in the ID proces) Ferdy, you've ID'ed my latter grape shot, could you please look at it again:)? Thx holmes:)! Posted 13 years ago
    1. Sorry about that, something was structurally wrong in the link between the specie synonyms and the JungleDragon specie record (which did exist). Fixed that permanently now, in the future you can tag this specie by both the common name and the binomial name. Posted 13 years ago
      1. Thx Ferdy, no problem whatsoever. I thought this shot to be a bit exceptional so I uploaded it and normally the processing works just fine. Tanks for letting me know! Posted 13 years ago
        1. Please don't apologize for uploading, that's what's most important :)

Concerning specie identification: there is currently a fail rate of about 5%. Taking all things into account:

          - Usable enough for new members without any training
          - Unreliable data from Wikipedia
          - Huge complexity in parsing and taxonomy linking

...I'm actually very happy with that, and don't mind the occasional manual fixing.

    1. Thanks Gernot! With an opening of only a tiny part of a millimetre it was quite a sight for me. I tried do to the same with my eyes, but my own macro mode failed ;) Posted 13 years ago, modified 13 years ago
