Rose-ringed Parakeet eating apple Don't underestimate the strength these parakeets have. This one jumped on my shoulder and kept biting an iron button on the shoulder pad of my coat. 1. Hey Ferdy, if you had put it a little more to the right you would have covered an amazing lot of the 'gouden snede', those curves are perfect, almost bizarrely so:) Posted 10 years ago
    1. Thanks. Agreed, the composition is a bit too tight on this one. Posted 10 years ago

  3. I never saw an image this close to it:) Nice shot! What is he eating, it looks like cheese? Naah, it's apple (I bet he likes apples more:)) Posted 10 years ago
  4. It that true? A good design! A few weeks ago I saw the pages of the man/woman who designed your graphs, showing the logo and hierarchy images created for you. Now With this golden rule applied I begin to understand why your site is so attractive, it's the subconscious trigger;) Posted 10 years ago
    1. Ah Jeff Miracula. Yes, he's an amazing artist who did great work for the site. Unfortunately he is too busy nowadays, so I'm going to need to hire another illustrator.

      For what? Well that's a surprise :)

The Alexandrine parakeet is a medium-sized parrot in the genus Psittacula of the family Psittaculidae. It is named after Alexander the Great, who transported numerous birds from Punjab to various European and Mediterranean countries and regions, where they were prized by the royalty, nobility and warlords.
