  1. I don't think this is Libellula herculea, the abdomen is very thin. Posted 9 years ago
    1. I thought that too, but it is the only one which describes as the bluish shine on the frons, also I have found some which look thinner . I have one, view where he flies of, from top it looks thicker. I have been through the list till 2 am and trust me, all the others don't match at all. at least it has the greyish sides, the dark bit underneath. All other reds have no black on the tail, hope you saw the second photo. Or they are even thicker or no Libelludiae. Which I am sure of because of the wings and frons. Posted 9 years ago
