    Our next goal will of course be 1,000 species. Hereby I'll promose a small donation to a wildlife charity when we reach that. On top of that, a donation for rhino protection will also be made at 4,000 photos, as promised earlier :)

        Perhaps you did not know this yet, but JungleDragon has a special overview in which only photos appear that do not have a specie identified:

        Sometimes there is no specie on the photo (for example a landscape), sometimes we simply don't know the specie. I think there's a few dozen more species hiding in that overview, but these are hard to identify.

The Scarlet Tiger Moth is a colorful moth of Europe, Turkey, Transcaucasus, northern Iran. It belongs to the tiger moth family, Arctiidae. The caterpillars feed mostly on comfrey. The imagines fly by day.
