  1. Hello, Marta. I came across this early photo of yours while checking the Tenthredo species. I removed the species identification, because it is not Tenthredo scophulariae. T.scophularia has orange antennae, which distinguish it from the other Tenthredo species. Also the yellow markings on the abdomen are different. Most probably your photo is of Tenthredo vespa, but I am not quite sure. I shall make some further research. Posted 4 years ago, modified 4 years ago

Tenthredo marginella is a sawfly in the tenthredinidae family. Its larvae look a lot like caterpillars, and in some countries are therefore called "bastard caterpillars".
