
Wild ginger - Etlingera fimbriobracteata
Seen in the area of Mount Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo (2015).
Zingiberaceae. The plant is rhizomatous and the inflorescence (group of flowers) arises from the rhizoma, with up to 90 flowers per head. The flower's corolla is yellow, with an anther crest yellow - orange. Fruits ripen reddish.
They live in th forest floors near rivers or streams.

Etlingera fimbriobracteata is a tropical ginger herb in the Etlingera genus. It is found in Borneo (Sarawak).
