Serpophaga cinerea on rock - II This is a tyrannus flycatcher, believe it or not.
It is only the size of a European marsh tit or Carolina chickadee . Spotted in Rio Caño negro yesterday, another interesting gymnastic standing knee deep in pretty cold water holding an 800mm in grim light. Yes, it was worth it.
If somebody puts that summer tag in AGAIN I'm crying. I needed a warm pullover and the heating on in my Rangie. Costa Rica,Geotagged,Serpophaga,Serpophaga cinerea,Torrent tyrannulet,Tyrannidae,WINTER,ave, bird, oiseau, pajaro, piojito guardarríos Click/tap to enlarge
