  1. Although it does have beautiful blue eyes, the yellowish tinge to the coat makes me think that this is a leopard (Panthera pardus) rather than a Snow Leopard (Pantheria uncia). Also, although this could be from a zoo, Snow Leopards do not occur in Thailand whereas there are leopards in Thailand. Posted 8 years ago

The leopard is one of the five "big cats" in the genus "Panthera". It is a member of the Felidae family with a wide range in regions of sub-Saharan Africa, West Asia, the Middle East, South and Southeast Asia to Siberia. Fossil records found in Italy suggest that in the Pleistocene it ranged as far as Europe.
