By the side of the track, in a huge tree. I stalked closer a snails pace and was really lucky. Saw before that it has been introduced in the Netherlands.... but the Dutch one has a paler yellow head. This one is 100% genuine, had a partner which looked the same.

I'm surprised to read it is introduced in the Netherlands. I've never heard of that or seen it, nor is it a listed bird in the guides I use. Posted 9 years ago
When I looked it up here, you get a picture and a map .
And it was geotagged in the Netherlands and in Florida, although I don't think it is the right ID, it might be a southern one.
Sorry that this one wasn't, the geotag is extremely slow and sometimes it just looses connection before saved appears. Saving seems to take forever.
Sigh, just look at the southern caracara.BOTH geotags must be wrong.
