Greek Hedgehog I was more than a little surprised to find this (not so) little fella in the garden behind the apartment. I don't know why, but I never assumed that hedgehogs would live in Corfu/Greece for some reason. This one looked to be very well fed and wasn't bothered at all by me taking pictures around it. I was more than a little surprised to find this (not so) little fella in the garden behind the apartment. I don't know why, but I never assumed that hedgehogs would live in Corfu/Greece for some reason. This one looked to be very well fed and wasn't bothered at all by me taking pictures around it.

The European Hedgehog , Common hedgehog or just Hedgehog in the anglophone parts of Europe, is a hedgehog species found in northern and western Europe. It is about 20 to 30 cm in length.
