Rare blue-eyed, white albino squirrel playing in the dirt.
I was casually taking a stroll by a bank property when I happened to spot this rare blue-eyed, white albino squirrel. I had been on a two week personal trip in Richmond, VA, recently, although I only saw this little girl on my last day in Richmand. I went back to my hotel room, grabbed my camera, and returned to the bank, and what luck!... She was still there! I snapped lots of pictures; this is one of my favorites! She had a super silly & sassy streak! I feel very blessed to have received such a wonderful opportunity as to photograph such a rare animal!

"Sciurus carolinensis", common name eastern gray squirrel or grey squirrel depending on region, is a tree squirrel in the genus "Sciurus". It is native to eastern North America, but has since been introduced to European regions.
