Camera Shy Lizard (Nicknamed 'Larry') This is apparently the most common lizard in Corfu however I only saw this one and it was more than keen to run away from me. I did manage to get a single shot of it however it was using my 60mm macro lens from about 14 feet away - not ideal but you can still see the different coloured head compared to the body. The blue-throated keeled lizard or Dalmatian algyroides (Algyroides nigropunctatus) is a species of lizard in the family Lacertidae.
