Paropsisterna atalanta A pale beetle associated with heathland and alpine, possibly snowgum defines it.  It is structurally similar to atalanta and shares the same habitat types. A pale beetle associated with heathland and alpine, possibly snowgum defines it. It is structurally similar to atalanta and shares the same habitat types. It is much more scarce. Possibly it is interstitialis but the original description is far to brief to be useful.

A red beetle with flecks of white and darker brown on the disc of the elytra. It is variable and normally has black markings on the apex. It is distinguished by strong elytral interstitial punctuations.
