Pluteus atromarginatus
A striking solitary mushroom with a velvety thin-skinned dark cap and pale free gills. The free edges of the gills were dark which gave it a very attractive and translucent appearance. The pale stipe appeared to be sparsely covered with dark fibrils.
Spotted on a damp decaying log in a eucalypt forest.
