Blue Monkeys at the Nairobi Animal Orphanage
Well they don't call it monkey business for nothing. I took the photo of these two young blue monkeys engaged in depth "discussions" at the Nairobi Animal Orphanage. They were very active as they schemed and scrambled for carrots and nuts thrown to them by minders. These two were the slapstick masters.
The blue monkey or diademed monkey is a species of Old World monkey native to Central and East Africa, ranging from the upper Congo River basin east to the East African Rift and south to northern Angola and Zambia. It sometimes includes the Sykes', silver, and golden monkey as subspecies.
