  2. With all due respect, asking a question after looking at the light on the specimen. Is this captive leopard and is it a stuffed specimen (like one kept in natural history museum. Posted 9 years ago
    1. From the complexion it sure does look like a stuffed one. We do not have captive ones in Borneo so far. Posted 4 years ago

The leopard is one of the five "big cats" in the genus "Panthera". It is a member of the Felidae family with a wide range in regions of sub-Saharan Africa, West Asia, the Middle East, South and Southeast Asia to Siberia. Fossil records found in Italy suggest that in the Pleistocene it ranged as far as Europe.
