The Gran Canaria giant lizard is a species of lizard in the Lacertidae family that grows to lengths up to 80 cm. It is endemic to Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands of Spain. Its natural habitats are temperate shrubland, Mediterranean-type shrubby vegetation, rocky areas, rocky shores, and pastureland.
