Peltoschema suturalis
This is possibly the largest and most brightly colored of the winter Peltoschema species. This was found on golden wattle and quite common. Larvae will feed on flowers if they can and then they become yellow but there are no flowers yet.
The red variety is less common and might represent a cryptic species.
