Indian Ornamental tarantula - Juvenile We roamed many nights for this and we found it near our Community hall (Juvenile one). <br />
Yet to see adult of this Arboreal tarantula. Another team was successful in getting shots of adult which was pretty huge. <br />
Another beautiful species from Matheran. They are one of the highly traded tarantulas in the world market.. please discourage such trades if you come across any please report it to nearby authority. ''Poecilotheria regalis'' is a species of arboreal tarantulas from the Western and Eastern Ghats, India. The common name for this spider is Indian ornamental tree spider, or simply Indian ornamental. It is one of the most popular arboreal tarantulas for amateur collectors. Their legspan sometimes exceeds 7 inches.
