
Yellow-Vented Bulbul
17.5 cm and as its name indicates it has a yellow vent, and brown back with white grey grey blotched throat and chest, dark line from beak to eye and long eyelashes.The head is white with a top brown line across it that gets tufted when the bird is excited.
Habitat:
Lankayan Island, Sabah.
The Yellow-vented Bulbul, '' Pycnonotus goiavier'', is a member of the bulbul family of passerine birds. It is resident breeder in southeast Asia from southern Thailand and Cambodia south to Borneo and the Philippines.
