    So sad and mysterious that something so big and beautiful only lives for 7 days.
    For perspective, he was almost the size of my hand and his white, furry body was around the size of a finger, from the tip to the middle knuckle.

''Actias luna'', commonly known as the Luna Moth, is a lime-green, Nearctic Saturniid moth in the family Saturniidae, subfamily Saturniinae. It has a wingspan of up to 114mm making it one of the largest moths in North America.
