  1. What a beauty. Did you extricate the victim? (Supposedly an Oxycanus spp parasite)
    Bill Leithead says C.gunnii and C.hawkesii are now regarded as synonymous and ALA has no hawkesii.

    1. No, I had no idea what it was at the time. This location is near the birdsnest fungi we discovered at Montrose Oval all that time ago. Posted 9 years ago

Cordyceps gunnii is an endoparasitic fungus which occurs in Australia and infects moths in the Hepialidae family.
