    1. The trough was at a gate that i had to stop and open when returning to the out station after work so i would poke the lens out the window grab a few shots then head off for a nice cold beer. Posted 9 years ago

        1. It,s a good life but you need to be a bit of a loner as you dont see any people until late Sat night when they fly you back into the main part of the station. Sun catching up with all the news then back out early Mon morning. Posted 9 years ago

    1. Every day there was a different mob of birds on the trough, except one afternoon i came up out of the creek to see the trough full of feral pigs. This was actually very common and the damage was ongoing both to the trough and the pigs. Posted 9 years ago

The Pale-headed Rosella, is a broad-tailed parrot of the genus "Platycercus" native to northeastern Australia. It is a moderate-size parrot with a pale yellow head, predominantly white cheeks, scalloped black and gold back and pale blue underparts.
