    1. They are usually tucked away under the body. Often they curl around underneath with the tips poking out of the gap in front of the anterior margin of the elytra. You can see the first antennomere (called the stipe) underneath the eye. Posted 9 years ago

Paropsisterna intacta is common in Victoria but seldom seen because it is nocturnal and hides under bark of manna type gumtrees. It has two ocelli which appear as large eyes, and has an additional pair of 'eyebrows' above them.
