
Paropsis dilatata
This large montane species is a personal favorite with flamboyant patterns of white verrucae on the elytra like icing on the cake complete with beading along the margins of the elytra and pronotum. Never common, this species is ovoviviparous, as montane species sometimes are, eggs hatching immediately before birth (although this specimen is male).
